Rolo Pretzel Treats

Preheat your oven to 250°
and line your cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Layout your pretzels onto your cookie sheet.

Top each pretzel with one unwrapped Rolo.

Bake 3 to 5 minutes; until the Rolos begin to soften, but not melt.

Take your treats out of the oven and place another pretzel or a pecan on top of the Rolo.

Let your treats cool in the frig or freezer for a few minutes before serving.

Tips & Tricks for a Healthy Christmas Tree

1. Water, water, water

Making sure your tree has enough water is crucial. Always keep your tree stand filled. You want to have the water level covering your tree trunk always.

2. Cut a few inches off the bottom of your tree.

Before placing your Christmas tree into your tree stand, you first want to saw a few inches off of the bottom of your tree. Because when your Christmas tree is first cut down the pitch from the tree oozes out and seals the bottom of the tree not allowing it to absorb water. Cutting off a few inches of the bottom will open up the pores allowing your tree to absorb more water; which will keep it fresher and greener.

3. Keep your tree away from heat

Any type of excessive heat is not good for your tree. Not only for the obvious reason, Christmas trees are very flammable, but also because heat will dry out your tree. Having your tree by a fire place, heating vent or using Christmas lights that create a lot of heat will dry out your tree. ( I suggest LED lights for the Christmas tree.)

4. The right tree stand

Make sure that you have the right size tree stand for your tree. Depending on the size of your tree stand should be able to hold at least 1 quart of water per inch of stem diameter. You also want to make sure that the opening of your tree stand is big enough for your tree trunk. You don't want to scratch, scrape, or damage your tree trunk in anyway.
